These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pipeline.app and any services provided by Pipeline Consulting LLC ("Pipeline," "we," "us"). By using our website, submitting a form, or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.
Who we are
Pipeline is a donor acquisition service for nonprofit organizations. We run advertising campaigns, build giving experiences, and follow up with new donors on behalf of our clients. We also provide a software platform that our clients use to view and manage the donors those campaigns produce.
Using this website
You may use this website to learn about our services and to request a conversation with our team. You agree not to use it to break the law, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or submit false information.
Requesting a conversation
When you submit a form on this website, you are asking us to contact you about our services. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it, including any phone number you enter.
Text messages and SMS
Consent. If you check the box to receive text messages when you submit your phone number, you agree that we may send you text messages at that number. Consent is optional. You do not have to agree to texts to submit a form, request a conversation, or become a client.
When we text you. Consent applies from the moment you submit your phone number, not only after any later step is completed. We may text you to reply to your request, confirm or reschedule a call, remind you about a scheduled call, or follow up if you started a form and did not finish it.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your activity and where you are in the conversation.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for text messages. Your mobile carrier may.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@pipeline.app.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your information. We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
Services for clients
If your organization engages Pipeline as a client, the services we provide, the fees, and the term are set out in a separate written agreement between us. Those agreement terms control if they conflict with anything here.
Your account. Client accounts are for use by your organization's authorized staff. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
Your data. Donor records, gifts, and messages created through the platform belong to your organization. We use them to provide the services described in your agreement. You may export your data at any time while your account is active.
Payments. Donations made through a Pipeline giving form are processed by Stripe and are paid directly into your organization's own Stripe account. Pipeline does not hold, receive, or take a percentage of donations. Your organization is the merchant of record for those transactions and is responsible for refunds, chargebacks, and donor receipts.
Your responsibilities. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you approve for use in campaigns, for complying with the laws that apply to your fundraising, including charitable solicitation registration where required, and for having the right to use any names, logos, images, or donor information you provide to us.
Intellectual property
The website, the platform, and their content are owned by Pipeline and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them except as allowed by your agreement with us. Content you provide to us remains yours.
Third-party services
The platform uses third-party services, including payment processing, messaging, email delivery, and calendar providers. Your use of the platform may also be subject to those providers' terms.
Disclaimers
The website and platform are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any specific fundraising result will be achieved. Any performance commitments are those stated in your written agreement with us, if any.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pipeline is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost revenue, lost donations, or lost data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Pipeline harmless from claims arising out of content you provide, your use of the services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or end access to the website or platform if these Terms are violated. Client engagements end according to the written agreement between us.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Indiana.
